Free Media Catcher enables you to download online videos from almost any website, including Youtube, Dailymotion, Megavideo, Google Videos, LastFM etc. Once you start the capture mode, the program will automatically capture any streaming media that you are watching in your web browser, no need to copy and paste the URL. You can configure the program to ignore small (advertising) clips and set a default directory to save your files. Free Media Catcher uses WinPcap (included with the download) to capture streams from your browser.
