WinGuard Pro (Free Edition) enables you to password protect access to various Windows features and programs, including Internet Explorer. Live Mail, Messenger, Task Manager, Computer, Control Panel, Media Player, Folder Options, Command Prompt and more. Whenever a protected task is accesses, the user is prompted for the administrative password before he can continue. If your computer has multiple user accounts, you can optionally exclude your account from restrictions, while keeping them enforced for all other accounts. WinGuard Pro also includes a simple encryption feature for folders and files.The free version is for personal use only and has several additional features disabled, mainly the ability to password protect custom programs.
