Kingsoft Free Antivirus is a cloud based anti-virus software that protects your PC from viruses, spyware, Rootkits, worms and other types of malware in real-time. In addition to scanning files already on your system, the program also scans your email attachments, browser downloads and file transfers from popular Instant Messenger clients. Like many others, Kingsoft cannot be used alongside other anti-virus products (e.g. Microsoft Security Essentials), however it offers a compatibility mode that allows you to use some of the features, even if other anti-virus software is installed on your system.
The effectiveness of this product has been certified by these independent labs: VirusBulletin (VB 100).
