YoWindow is a weather monitoring application that displays a dynamic landscape on your desktop that reflects the current weather conditions in a city of your choice. The landscape smoothly simulates the actual cloud cover, as well as rain, fog, snow, thunderstorms, sunrise/sunset and other local conditions. An overlay, that can be turned on/off, displays detailed weather information including temperature, pressure, wind speed, etc. along with an 8-day forecast. YoWindow can run as regular application window or in screensaver mode, and also displays the current temperature and conditions from a tray menu icon. Other features include support for multiple (international) locations and customizable landscape images.
